Fluid coupling 150.37.016 for tractor HTZ T-150
Purpose
Fluid coupling 150.37.016is installed in the gearbox of the HTZ T-150 tractor and its modifications. It performs the function of a hydraulic friction clutch, transmitting torque from the engine to the transmission. Thanks to the hydraulic principle of operation, smooth engagement and shifting of gears is ensured, shock loads are reduced and gearbox components are protected from overloads.
Design
The basis of the unit is a double friction drum, inside of which a multi-disc package is placed:

9 metal-ceramic discs (150.37.074);

9 metal disks (150.37.602);

2 thrust discs (150.37.136).
The package is secured with a locking ring 150.37.534 and retaining rings 150.37.221B. The pressure is created by pistons 150.37.127-1B, equipped with return springs A41-24 (20 pcs. per clutch). The springs are held by bushings 150.37.129A and fixed by washers 151.37.133 with o-rings 150.37.138-1. This design ensures reliable engagement and disengagement of the clutch under the influence of oil pressure.
Varieties
The tractor transmission uses two fluid couplings:

151.37.010 – works with gears 151.37.117 (z36) and 150.37.120-2 (z46×38), for bearing 50115;

151.37.011-1 – equipped with gears 151.37.109-1 (z40) and 151.37.110-4 (z32×46), also for bearing 50115.
The difference in the gear sets allows them to work with different transmission chains, providing a choice of direction of movement - forward or backward.
Working principle
When oil pressure is applied to the pistons, they move and compress the disc pack. Ceramic-metal and steel discs engage in the clutch and transmit torque through the drum to the gears. When the pressure is removed, the return springs release the discs, breaking the transmission. This ensures smooth gear shifting and protects the gearbox from jerks and overloads.
Maintainability
Fluid coupling 150.37.016 is completely dismountable and easy to maintain. When worn, it is possible to replace discs, seals, springs and other elements. Thanks to the availability of repair kits, the unit can be restored without complete replacement, which extends the service life of the gearbox and reduces operating costs.
