It is part of the gearbox input shaft (catalog number 150.37.104-4) and is responsible for engaging first gear. When this gear is engaged, the gear transfers torque from the engine to the transmission output shaft, providing maximum possible low-speed traction—especially important when starting, plowing, towing, or other heavy-duty applications.
Gear 151.37.111 has 23 straight teeth and works in constant mesh with a pair of driven gears. In the gearbox design, it is located next to the spacer sleeve 150.37.113 and the second gear gear 151.37.220-2. This placement ensures correct fixation of parts on the shaft and precise engagement when shifting gears.
