Purpose:
The hydraulic accumulator 150.37.044-1, used in the gearbox of the T-150 crawler tractor, is designed to maintain stable hydraulic pressure and participate in gear shifting. It stores hydraulic energy (oil pressure) and releases it during gear changes, maintaining pressure in the system and especially in the disengaged friction clutch during gear changes. Thanks to this, the hydraulic accumulator provides smooth shifting without hydraulic shock and helps to avoid interruption in the power flow. The unit also maintains the required pressure during operation of hydraulic boosters (gearbox actuators), which contributes to stable operation of the system without pressure dips.
Construction:
Structurally, the hydraulic accumulator is a durable unit consisting of a housing and a cover. The housing 150.37.078-1 is made of high-strength steel that can withstand heavy mechanical loads during transmission operation. The cover 150.37.323-1 is tightened with the body with bolts, forming a sealed cavity with a sealing gasket between them. Inside the housing there is a piston with a system of powerful springs, compressed in the initial state. The assembly also includes a built-in valve - left 150.37.065-1 or right 150.37.064-1 depending on the version - which ensures correct redistribution of oil flow in the hydraulic system. This design allows you to accumulate oil pressure and work for a long time as part of the gearbox.
Operating principle:
During normal operation, the pump pumps oil into the hydraulic system, and the hydraulic accumulator is charged: oil enters the internal cavity, moving the piston and compressing the springs, thereby accumulating pressure energy. At the moment of gear shifting, the accumulated pressure is released - the hydraulic accumulator releases oil through a valve, maintaining the required pressure in the disengaged transmission clutch. This allows the old gear to temporarily continue transmitting power until the new gear is fully engaged, creating an overlap effect and ensuring smooth shifting. After the next gear is engaged and the pressures are equalized, the oil refills the accumulator, restoring the operating pressure. Interacting with the hydraulic distributor and hydraulic clutches of the gearbox, the hydraulic accumulator 150.37.044-1 guarantees reliable gear shifting without jerking and stable pressure in the transmission hydraulic system.
