Planet Gear Outer Spacer Washer 150.39.109 (also referred to as the outer thrust washer) is used in the wheel final drives of HTZ tractors. It is designed to retain the needle rollers inside the planet gear, ensuring their correct positioning and reliable operation of the planetary gear mechanism. The washer is installed on both sides of Planet Gear 150.39.106-3 or 150.39.106-5A, preventing the rollers from shifting and ensuring proper operation under heavy service loads.
The 150.39.109 Outer Spacer Washer is a component of the Planet Gear Assembly 150.39.021 and is used in both the early and later versions of the wheel final drive. The washer is compatible with both the old-style and new-style final drive carriers, making it suitable for servicing different versions of HTZ planetary gear mechanisms.
Each wheel final drive requires 12 outer spacer washers 150.39.109—two washers for each of the six planet gears, one on each side of every planet gear. During wheel final drive overhaul, it is recommended to inspect the condition of the spacer washers, needle rollers, planet gear pins, and the internal bores of the planet gears. Replacing all worn components as a complete set helps prevent axial movement of the rollers, reduces wear of the planetary gear components, and extends the service life of the wheel final drive.
Compatible with the wheel final drives of HTZ T-150K, T-151K, T-156, HTZ-17021, HTZ-17221, HTZ-242K, HTZ-248K, and other HTZ tractors equipped with the same wheel final drive design.
