Large 14×28 & Small 10×28 Planet Gear Needle Rollers

Planet Gear Needle Roller 14×28 / 10×28 is used in the wheel final drives of HTZ tractors and is one of the key bearing elements of the planetary gear mechanism. The needle rollers are installed inside the planet gears, allowing them to rotate freely around the Planet Gear Pin 150.39.107-1 with minimal friction while carrying the high radial loads generated during wheel final drive operation.

Depending on the planetary gear design, two roller sizes are used. The larger 14×28 Needle Roller is installed in Planet Gear 150.39.106-3, with 26 rollers per planet gear. The 10×28 Needle Roller is used in Planet Gear 150.39.106-5A, with 28 rollers per planet gear. In both versions, the rollers are arranged in two rows around the Planet Gear Pin 150.39.107-1, with a Spacer Ring 150.39.108-3A installed between the rows to ensure correct roller positioning and even load distribution.

The needle rollers are components of the Planet Gear Assembly 150.39.021 or 150.39.021-2АР, which is installed inside the final drive carrier of the wheel final drive. Depending on the planet gear version, each tractor requires either 312 needle rollers (14×28) — 26 rollers for each of the 12 planet gears — or 336 needle rollers (10×28) — 28 rollers for each of the 12 planet gears.

During wheel final drive overhaul, it is recommended to inspect the condition of the needle rollers, planet gear pins, the internal bores of the planet gears, and the spacer rings. Replacing the complete set of needle rollers helps maintain even load distribution, reduces the risk of premature wear, and significantly extends the service life of the planetary gear mechanism.

Compatible with the wheel final drives of HTZ T-150K, T-151K, T-156, HTZ-17221, HTZ-242K, HTZ-248K, and other HTZ tractors equipped with the same planetary wheel final drive design.
