The Wheel Final Drive Planet Gear 150.39.106-3 / 150.39.106-5A is the planet gear body supplied without needle rollers and is used in the wheel final drives of HTZ tractors. It is installed in the wheel final drive carrier and, when assembled with the required components, forms a complete planetary gear assembly that transmits torque and ensures reliable operation of the wheel final drive.
Two versions of the planet gear are available. 150.39.106-3 is the earlier design, intended for 26 needle rollers (14 × 28 mm) and featuring an internal diameter of 72.5 mm. 150.39.106-5A is the later design, intended for 28 needle rollers (10 × 28 mm) with an internal diameter of 64.5 mm. Although their internal dimensions differ, both versions are used in the same type of wheel final drive planetary mechanism.
To assemble a complete Planet Gear Assembly, the planet gear is fitted with Planet Gear Pin 150.39.107-1 (1 pc), Planet Gear Spacer Ring 150.39.108-3A / 150.39.108-2 (1 pc), Planet Gear Spacer Washers 150.39.109 (2 pcs), and the appropriate set of needle rollers. Once assembled, the unit is designated as 150.39.021 (earlier version) or 150.39.021-2AR (later version).
When repairing a wheel final drive, it is recommended to inspect the condition of the planet gear body, planet gear pin, needle rollers, spacer ring, and spacer washers. Replacing worn components as a complete set helps eliminate excessive play, ensures even load distribution, and significantly extends the service life of the planetary gear mechanism.
Planet Gears 150.39.106-3 and 150.39.106-5A are used in the wheel final drives of HTZ T-150K, T-151K, T-156, HTZ-17021, HTZ-17221, HTZ-242K, HTZ-248K, and other HTZ wheeled tractors with the same wheel final drive design.
