Traction 151.46.019

Central Brake Rod 151.46.019 is a key component of the parking brake (handbrake) mechanism used on HTZ wheel tractors, including the T-150, T-151, and T-156.

Construction and Installation

One end of the rod is fitted with Fork 151.46.123, which is connected to Handbrake Lever 125.46.016 using Retaining Pin 5.22.213 and cotter pins.

The opposite end is secured to one of the holes in Intermediate Lever 151.46.022-2 with Pin A40-18-01 and a cotter pin.

Operating Principle

When the parking brake lever is engaged, Handbrake Lever 125.46.016 transfers force to Central Brake Rod 151.46.019.

Through the rod fork and the intermediate lever, the force is transmitted to Brake Band 151.46.011, which tightens around Brake Drum 125.46.101-1A.

This locks the wheels securely and keeps the tractor stationary.
