The spring serves to automatically return the brake bands to their original position after releasing the hand brake. This ensures the drum is released securely and completely, preventing overheating and excessive wear.
One spring hook clings to the brake band assembly 151.46.011, which combines a tape 151.46.111, a traverse 125.46.109, a brake pad 151.46.112, metal eye 125.46.110and fastening rivets.
The second hook is attached to the bracket of guy wires 125.46.014which holds the tape in the correct position relative to the drum.
When you press the handbrake lever, the tension band grabs the drum. Once released, the spring automatically returns the belt to its original position, freeing the drum and restoring readiness for the next braking.
Used in central (parking) brake systems (handbrake) on wheeled HTZ models, including T-150, T-151K, T-156 and others that are equipped with this unit.
