Steering rod assembly 151.40.022-2 is a key steering element responsible for transmitting force from steering mechanism to the steered wheels of the tractor, providing them synchronized rotation. The assembly connects the steering rack or gearbox to the steering knuckles and converts the rotational movement of the steering wheel into translational movement, which changes the direction of movement of the tractor.
The basis of the design is the thrust rod 151.40.024-2, equipped with two types of oilers - II-A-45 according to GOST 1303-56 and I-AI according to GOST 1303-56, which allows for efficient maintenance of the unit. The same elements are installed on both sides of the tie rod: plug 125.40.246, guide bushing 125.40.245, tie rod spring 125.40.152 and cotter pin 5×60 GOST 397-66.
For maintenance and repair, a repair kit is provided, including a thrust block 125.40.251, a ball pin 151.40.162-1, an oil seal cover 125.40.238 and a gasket 125.40.237.
The part is used on HTZ tractors with a wheeled chassis, including models T-150, T-151, T-156, HTZ-17221 and others. It is made of durable, wear-resistant materials designed for long-term operation under conditions of significant loads and exposure to aggressive environments.
