The tractor has several membrane brake chambers, which are used to transform the air flow to activate the brake mechanisms.

 This is the optimal type of braking system for tractors, cars and trailers. First of all, the use of air makes it possible to use several vehicles so that all devices can brake and be conveniently controlled by the driver from the cab. Using fluid to transmit force would make clutch impossible, similar to the brakes of a hydraulic device. The emergency braking system can be activated using an air brake system that operates parts of the service brake and parking brake system.

 When the brake pedal is pressed, i.e. when compressed air enters through the input, the membrane bends, acts on the disc and moves the rod, which rotates the adjusting lever of the brake mechanism simultaneously with the expansion fist. The fist presses the pads tightly against the brake drum, corresponding to the pressure of the compressed air supplied to the brake chamber.

 After the brake pedal is pressed, i.e., when air leaves the chamber, under the action of a spring, the disk with the rod and membrane assumes its original state. The adjusting lever with the fist and pads moves to the released position under the influence of the tension springs of the brake mechanism.
