Differential L220.72.013 (new model) is used in the final drive of the front and rear axles of KhTZ tractors and is designed to distribute torque between the axle shafts, taking into account driving conditions and load.
The key difference between the L220 series differential is the use of a modernized package of friction elements and reinforced components: disk L220.72.212 (4 pcs), disk L220.72.211 (4 pcs), flange L220.72.162 (1 pc), satellite L220.72.020 (4 pcs), clutch L220.72.216-2 (2 pcs). These changes increase the reliability of the unit and the stability of the bridge under load.
The remaining structural elements are unified with the old-style differential 151.72.013-7, which maintains compatibility in terms of components and facilitates maintenance.
Used on tractors KhTZ T-150, KhTZ-242, KhTZ-243, KhTZ-248 and other models with axles of the new L220 series.
