The IZV-700 air cleaner restriction indicator is designed to monitor the condition of the engine air filter on tractors, combine harvesters, and other agricultural machinery. The indicator monitors the vacuum level in the clean-air intake tract downstream of the air cleaner and automatically provides a visual warning when the restriction reaches 7 ±0.35 kPa, indicating that the air filter requires servicing.
As the filter element becomes contaminated, airflow resistance increases. When the specified restriction level is reached, a red warning sector appears in the viewing windows of the IZV-700. After cleaning or replacing the air filter, the indicator is manually reset to its initial position by turning the knurled upper disc.
The IZV-700 can be installed directly in the clean-air line between the air cleaner and the engine or mounted remotely, including inside the tractor cab, with a sealed tube connecting it to the intake tract. The operating position of the indicator is vertical, with a permissible deviation of up to 30°.
Main specifications: activation vacuum — 7 ±0.35 kPa, operating principle — mechanical, indication — visual red warning, operating temperature — from −40 to +80 °C, relative humidity — up to 95% at +35 °C, weight — no more than 0.1 kg, housing diameter — approximately 41 mm, mounting element hex size — 14 mm.
Different mounting connection options are available with K1/8" and M10×1 elements, as well as Ø8 mm and Ø5 mm fittings. The indicator is connected to the mounting element through a rubber bushing.
The IZV-700 is used to monitor air cleaner restriction on engines installed in tractors, combine harvesters, and other agricultural and special-purpose machinery. Selecting the correct activation threshold is particularly important: the IZV-700 is rated for 7 kPa, compared with 5 kPa for the IZV-500 and 6 kPa for the IZV-600.
The indicator is manufactured according to TU 25.02.1749-75 and is designed for operation under conditions of increased vibration, temperature fluctuations, and dust typical of agricultural machinery.
