The PN-15 voltage converter is used in the electrical equipment system of HTZ tractors and is intended for charging an additional battery in equipment with engine starting from 24 V when using the main electrical equipment at 12 V.
PN-15 is a semiconductor DC-DC converter operating in a single-wire circuit. The device converts the input voltage between the “|” pins and “14V” to the output voltage between the “14V” and “28V” terminals. The negative terminal of the main battery is connected to the housing through mounting bolts.
The converter provides an output current of at least 15±0.75 A with an input voltage of 13.5±0.5 V, while the output voltage is maintained at 14±0.1 V. The device is equipped with automatic protection against exceeding the input voltage up to 30 V, overheating, battery reversal and short circuit, and also automatically regulates the charging current depending on the ambient temperature.
Climatic modification - U2T2 according to DSTU 15150-69. The operating mode complies with DSTU 3940-84.
