Filter 160B (according to GOST 15870‑84), made in the form of a metal mesh cone, is mounted in the neck of the fuel tank 150.50.026 (or 74.50.015) and serves as the first stage of protection fuel system from the ingress of large dirt and mechanical particles. This is a simple but reliable solution, time-tested.
Design and installation

The mesh cone filter is inserted directly into the filler neck of the tank.

The top is closed with a cap-plug 74.50.042-4, which provides mechanical protection.

The tightness of the assembly is maintained by gasket 74.50.433, preventing dirt from entering and fuel leakage.
