Filter element 201-1105540 / 201-1105538 is used in the fuel coarse cleaning system of YaMZ-236 and YaMZ-238 engines and is intended for preliminary cleaning of fuel from mechanical impurities and contaminants before it enters the fuel equipment.
Installed inside the coarse fuel filter 204A-1105510-B / 201-1105540 and protects the fuel pump and injectors from premature wear. Depending on the design, the filter element can be made of a special filter thread (winding) - the original design produced by Kostroma, or of filter paper. To ensure tightness during maintenance, it is recommended to use the cover gasket 201-1105552-A.
A properly selected coarse cleaning element contributes to stable engine operation, increases the life of fuel equipment and reduces the risk of contaminants entering the power system.
Used on tractors HTZ T-150, T-150K, T-151, T-151K, T-156, HTZ-17221, HTZ-159K, HTZ-242K, HTZ-245K, HTZ-248K, HTZ-249K with YaMZ-236 and YaMZ-238 engines, as well as on KrAZ, MAZ vehicles and other vehicles with similar engines.
