The front cover 60-02101.01 / 60-02003.11 is used in the front part of SMD-60 engines and is designed to seal the timing gear drive unit, install seals and ensure proper operation of the front end of the engine.
The cover is installed through the gasket 60-02102.10 and is equipped with cuffs 60-02019.00, 60-02017.00, gear support 60-02013.30, oil flinger 60-02109.00, as well as a top dead center (TDC) indicator 60-02112.00. The cover is secured to the engine block with M12-6g×90.109 bolts.
An accompanying part of the assembly is the front support 60-02105.10, which provides additional support and correct placement of the drive elements. The design of the cover provides for the installation of seals that prevent oil leakage and contamination from entering the engine, which has a positive effect on the service life of the unit.
The front cover is an important element of the SMD-60 engine, since it ensures the tightness of the front assembly, protection of rotating parts and precise positioning of the timing drive components.
It is used on HTZ T-150, T-150K, T-151, T-156 tractors and other equipment equipped with SMD-60, SMD-62 engines and their modifications.
