The SIAP 408835.009GCh (IDS) inductive speed sensor is used in the transfer case of modern HTZ tractors and is designed to monitor the rotational speed of transmission components. The sensor operates together with impulse gear 155M.37.306 installed in drive shaft assembly 151.37.310-1A-01.
The operating principle is based on inductive sensing of gear 155M.37.306 rotation. As the gear teeth pass the sensing element of the sensor, electrical pulses are generated at a frequency corresponding to the rotational speed of the monitored shaft. The resulting signal is used by the tractor’s electrical system to determine rotational speed.
The SIAP 408835.009GCh sensor is installed in the transfer case together with gear 155M.37.306 and is part of the transmission monitoring system. When replacing the sensor, it is important to check the condition of the gear, the correct sensor position, and the clearance between its sensing element and the gear teeth.
The sensor is used on modern HTZ wheel tractors, including HTZ-17221, HTZ-242K, HTZ-245K, HTZ-248K, HTZ-249K, and other models equipped with a transfer case and rotational speed monitoring system of the corresponding design.
